Eileen McCarthy, RN, MSN, is the president of Nurture Home Care.  She has her Masters Degree in the Science of Nursing as well as 28 years experience as a registered nurse.  Eileen has worked closely with many different types of patients in hospital and home settings, including those with acute and chronic illnesses, such as cancer, cardiac disease, stroke, and Alzheimer’s disease.

 

Nurture Home Care has been providing in-home care and assistance since 2005—serving families primarily in the St. Louis metropolitan area.  Our care-giving and support staff is available around the clock, seven days a week, offering assistance that ranges from personal health care to companionship and light housework.

 

The company began as a resource providing geriatric care management—advising families trying to make their way through the eldercare maze.  Eileen and her staff have worked with many families dealing with the physical, emotional, and practical complexities that often accompany aging.  

 

Nurture’s goal is to maintain the well-being, dignity and independence of clients in a nurturing environment through trust, understanding, respect, and empathy, thereby affording optimal health care to each patient and assuring access to quality health care services.

 

Nurture’s health care staff promotes collaboration with the patient, family, and physician in the planning and coordination of care.  Our staff demonstrates professionalism in its interactions with patients and their families, caregivers and other members of the health care team.
